  • 6 to 10 weeks

    Confirmation of pregnancy by ultrasound examination and discussion of pregnancy care

  • 11 to 14 weeks

    Nuchal Translucency Scan for Down syndrome screening and consultation.

  • 18 to 20 weeks

    Anatomical survey scan and consultation.

  • 23 weeks

    Consultation and uterine artery scan.

  • 16 weeks

    Interim ultrasound and consultation. Examination of soft markers for Down syndrome.

  • 24 weeks

    Consultation and uterine artery scan.

  • 26 weeks

    Routine antenatal visit, blood test for diabetes and 4 dimensional scan.

  • 28 weeks

    Routine antenatal visit, blood test for haemoglobin level, antibody screen.

  • 32 weeks

    Consultation and fetal growth scan.

  • 34 weeks

    Routine antenatal visit.

  • 36 weeks

    Routine antenatal visit and vaginal swab for Group B streptococcus.

  • 37 weeks

    Routine antenatal visit and discuss issues around labour and mode of delivery.

  • Weekly visits thereafter for routine antenatal visits, assessment of fetal wellbeing.
